As the graphics would it’s a Ram SS/T, a limited edition Ram made for the ‘97-’98 model years with a souped-up, 245hp version of the 5.9 Magnum V8. Apparently less than 6,300 were made, and I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that way fewer survive in 2018 .

i remember those, there was one here locally that was a pace truck. it was beat to death. there is a dodge fie nd here in town though, that bought it up after it was run into the ground. he spent stupid money, and put the thing back together.........

Yup, ‘96 ones were pace trucks, ‘97 and ‘98 were SS/Ts, only real difference was the graphics. And the pace truck was blue only.

“ a souped-up, 245hp version of the 5.9 Magnum V8"

You’ll probably tell me something about low end torque, but getting such a little amount of hp out of a 5.9 seems laughable, even for the time.

335 lb/ft of torque, yeah it’s not a ton but also 90's American engine

I always remember one of the Pace Trucks   being parked in a field in the late 90’s. I saw it every time we would go visit my Uncle’s parents.
